About us
We are a Las Vegas based game studio born on the Roblox platform and built by people who genuinely love this community. As a community-first studio, we care as much about our worlds and players as we do about the people building them. That mindset has helped us grow into one of the most innovative teams on Roblox, pushing boundaries, shaping culture, and setting new standards across the platform.
With over 8B game visits, 35M monthly players, and a 16M member community, our worlds have become a core part of the Roblox ecosystem. We’re a ten time winner of the Roblox Innovation Awards and recognized as builders of the future of the platform. From Creatures of Sonaria and Dragon Adventures to World // Zero and Horse Life, we create experiences that players live in, not just visit.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a UX Designer who owns the player experience across our games. This is a UX-first role: you will define how players move through our worlds, understand what they are looking at, and stay engaged, from first load to deep into the gameplay loop. You should have a strong grasp of UX fundamentals such as user flows, information hierarchy, usability, readability, and accessibility, and be able to turn playtest feedback, live data, and player behaviour into clear design improvements. You will partner closely with Art, Engineering, and Design, translating UX direction into UI that supports both gameplay clarity and visual consistency. UI craft is part of the job, but the core of this role is UX thinking, problem-solving, and a player-first mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end player experience: flows, navigation, information hierarchy, and usability across our games.
- Define and refine how players move through menus, screens, and core gameplay loops.
- Design wireframes, flows, and interaction patterns, leading with the experience before visual polish.
- Turn playtest feedback, usability findings, and live data into clear improvements that reduce friction.
- Partner with Art and Engineering translate UX direction into clear, consistent in-game UI.
- Work within existing UI systems and visual style, improving usability without redefining art direction.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and Art across both new game development and live ops.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven UX design experience for games.
- Self-sufficient and fast. You own UX across multiple titles end to end, making confident decisions without a big support team or drawn-out research phases behind you.
- Fundamentals: user flows, information hierarchy, usability, readability, and accessibility.
- Ability to turn feedback, playtests, and data into clear, actionable design improvements.
- Comfort working within an established visual style and existing UI systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio that demonstrates UX thinking, not just visual polish: flows, problem-solving, and shipped interactive work.
- Willingness to learn new technologies (Roblox Studio)
Bonus Skills:
- Roblox experience, whether playing, building, or designing for the platform.
- Experience designing and building UI directly in Roblox Studio.
- Experience supporting live games and iterating on UI/UX post-launch.
- Motion, micro-interactions, or UI animation experience.
- Familiarity with Twin Atlas titles and the wider Roblox ecosystem
Location:
- Fully remote, but if Vegas sounds exciting, we can chat about relocation options.
Compensation:
- $54,000 - $66,000 + Bonus. Most offers land within this range. If your experience sits outside it in either direction, we'd still like to have the conversation.
