About us
We are a Las Vegas based game studio born on the Roblox platform and built by people who genuinely love this community. As a community-first studio, we care as much about our worlds and players as we do about the people building them. That mindset has helped us grow into one of the most innovative teams on Roblox, pushing boundaries, shaping culture, and setting new standards across the platform.
With over 8B game visits, 35M monthly players, and a 16M member community, our worlds have become a core part of the Roblox ecosystem. We’re a ten time winner of the Roblox Innovation Awards and recognized as builders of the future of the platform. From Creatures of Sonaria and Dragon Adventures to World // Zero and Horse Life, we create experiences that players live in, not just visit.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a UI/UX Artist (Designer) who is comfortable taking ownership of in-game UI from concept through implementation. This role is ideal for someone who can design and build UI directly in Roblox Studio, adapt to an established visual style, and work efficiently within existing UI systems and hierarchies. You should have a strong grasp of UI/UX fundamentals—such as hierarchy, readability, flow, and accessibility—and be able to rapidly iterate based on feedback, playtests, and live game needs. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are key, as you’ll work closely with Art, Engineering, and Design to ensure UI supports both gameplay clarity and visual consistency. A player-first mindset and attention to polish are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Translate established art style and visual direction into clear, engaging in‑game UI.
- Own UI layout, usability, accessibility, and moment‑to‑moment player experience.
- Design and build UI directly in Roblox Studio (screens, components, flows).
- Assemble, adapt, and integrate assets from the Art Lead into production‑ready UI systems.
- Work within existing UI hierarchies and systems while improving clarity and consistency.
- Rapidly iterate based on playtests, feedback, and live game needs.
- Maintain visual consistency across updates without shifting core art direction.
- Collaborate closely with Art, Engineering, and Design during both development and live ops.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and implementing in-game UI within Roblox Studio.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including visual hierarchy, usability, readability, and accessibility.
- Ability to work within an established art style and existing UI systems without redefining visual direction.
- Comfort adapting to pre-existing UI hierarchies, components, and production pipelines.
- Ability to iterate quickly and efficiently, balancing quality with development timelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio demonstrating shipped UI work, with emphasis on in-game or interactive systems.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience supporting live games and updating UI post‑launch.
- Familiarity with Twin Atlas titles and the Roblox ecosystem.
- Motion, micro‑interactions, or UI animation experience.
- Accessibility‑focused UI design experience.
Location:
- Fully remote, but if Vegas sounds exciting, we can chat about relocation options.
