About us
We are a Las Vegas based game studio born on the Roblox platform and built by people who genuinely love this community. As a community-first studio, we care as much about our worlds and players as we do about the people building them. That mindset has helped us grow into one of the most innovative teams on Roblox, pushing boundaries, shaping culture, and setting new standards across the platform.
With over 8B game visits, 35M monthly players, and a 16M member community, our worlds have become a core part of the Roblox ecosystem. We’re a ten time winner of the Roblox Innovation Awards and recognized as builders of the future of the platform. From Creatures of Sonaria and Dragon Adventures to World // Zero and Horse Life, we create experiences that players live in, not just visit.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a UI/UX Designer who owns the player experience end-to-end — from defining flows and solving friction points, through to building directly in Roblox Studio. UX thinking comes first; visual execution follows. A mobile-first mindset, sharp attention to polish, and the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality are essential.
We're open to contract arrangements but do prefer someone looking to join Twin Atlas full-time. Compensation is discussed during the interview process and based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own player flows, onboarding sequences, and in-game information architecture
- Identify UX friction points through playtesting and propose clear, prioritised solutions
- Translate experience decisions into production-ready UI built directly in Roblox Studio
- Maintain visual consistency and UX coherence across updates and new features
- Collaborate closely with Engineering throughout development and live ops
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and shipping UI/UX within Roblox Studio
- Ability to define user flows and experience logic before moving to visual execution
- Strong grasp of UX principles — hierarchy, readability, accessibility, and flow
- Strong understanding of Roblox's UI system (corners, gradients, drop shadows, etc.)
- Ability to work within an established art style without redefining visual direction
- Ability to author assets in Figma/Photoshop where needed
- Portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving — flows improved, friction reduced, decisions justified — not just polished screens
- Strong communication skills; comfortable on voice calls and working cross-functionally
- And most importantly: enthusiasm and the ability to learn!
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with the Roblox ecosystem and anime-style game UI
- Experience with Roblox UI frameworks, particularly Fusion
- Motion, micro-interactions, or UI animation experience
Location:
- Strong preference for East-Coast US or Europe time zone.
